Dear all valued members of our community,
As you are all aware tomorrow brings new restrictions with this second lockdown and with this, the rules of people visiting places of worship have also changed.
From tomorrow the church will NOT be open for the public to attend liturgies, we will however continue to live stream Sunday services for all to watch from the safety of their homes.
We will be open for two days a week to enable members of the congregation to enter the church, light a candle and say a prayer. This can only be done individually or in family units. When you finish, you will leave the church to enable the next person to come in. Masks are mandatory and you will not be permitted to enter without one.
The church will be open on Tuesdays (10th, 17th, 24th) and Thursdays (12, 19th, 26th) from 10am - 12 midday.
At present no weddings are allowed, unless it is absolutely necessary and permission will have to be granted by the Archdiocese. Funerals are allowed to take place but only up to (and no more than) 30 people may be present and the strict guidelines concerning social distancing must be kept.
If during these weeks of lockdown you have a Mnimosino or a Yiorti and would still like Father Aemilianos bless the names, please bring to the church the paper with the names you wish to be read to the church on either the Tuesday or the Thursday.
We thank you for your patience, support and cooperation during these unprecedented times.
If you would like to support the church please use the link below as these are very difficult times and we are grateful for any donations we receive.
